University of California, Berkeley: Campanile Tower and South Hall Mini Display Set
Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
This set is based on the Campanile Tower (Sather Tower) and the South Hall at the University of California, Berkeley. It also includes a little bit of South Hall Rd. which separates the two structures. The sets are both delivered in a mini format and would act as a wonderful display piece on a desk or shelf.
The Campanile finished construction in 1915 and has served as an icon for the University ever since. The South Hall, on the other hand, was built in 1873 and is the oldest surviving structure on campus. Due to their iconic status and importance to the Bay Area, I think that they would be aesthetically pleasing and important structures to be put on LEGO shelves.
