I've been designing locomotives for a while... well, there you go! my first attempt in the real Lego train world.
It is modeled from the Norfolk and Western J-Class 611 Steam locomotive, the Norfolk and Western J class was a class of fourteen 4-8-4 "Northern" streamlined steam locomotives built by the Roanoke railroad's own stores located in Roanoke, Virginia from 1941 to 1950 and operated by the Norfolk and Western Railway (N&W) for revenue service until the late 1950s.
In the Lego model two drive motors "Lego train motors" were used, which are controlled by the Lego Power Function Control System. The Lego motors are both installed below the tender.
