Launched on December 4, 1996 and landed on July 4, 1997, Nasa's Pathfinder mission was the first Mars lander mission to carry a microwave sized rover named Sojourner. Sojourner would relay information to the lander Pathfinder and from there Pathfinder would relay that information to Nasa. The mission lasted up to September 27, 1997. This build that I made includes Sojourner and Yogi Rock. My Sojourner set has the APXS instrument and the long antenna that sent data to Pathfinder. The base of this build is about five inches long, three inches wide, and two and a half inches tall. Sojourner is two and a half inches long, one and a half inches wide and is three inches tall. The build has around 160 pieces. This would make a good set because it is small, has fewer pieces, and would be more affordable for a younger audience.
