Bucharest Architecture Skyline

Keep a bit of 'Little Paris' on display with the Bucharest Architecture Skyline! But first, let's see what buildings are shown here and their significance. Going left to right we have:

  1. "Arcul De Triumf" or the Arch of Triumph is a rendition of the French Arc de Triomphe. It was built in the Inter-war Period to commemorate the soldiers who fought in World War One.
  2. "Palatul CEC" is a Government Building. It is located in the center of Bucharest. It is famous for its large glass dome roof and intricate handiwork.
  3. "Skytower Floreasca" is the tallest building in Romania and is home to several companies, a restaurant, and the South Korean Embassy.
  4. "Novotel Bucuresti" is a hotel built including the facade of the first National Theater in Bucharest. The building was destroyed in the Second World War, leading to a reconstruction in the modern architectural style.
  5. "Palatul Parlamentului" is a Government building originally started by the socialist regime. It was built using only materials from Romania, contributing to its extremely large price. It is considered the heaviest building in the world and the second-largest government building in the world.

There are still a lot of buildings that could be added, please leave suggestions in the comments. I may add the National Theater, ASE Building, and more in the future. Thank you!
