Shirakawa-go is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is made up of a group of historical Japanese houses that is located in Shokawa Valley. The farmhouses are estimated a 250 years old.
This build is made from 365 pieces. I love the old architecture, the narrow and tall roofs give Shirakawa-go its character. It is one of Japanese best kept secrets. It is indeed both a beautiful and magical place. Shirakawa-go also looks very different in summer and in winter. That's the reason behind the build being done in two different season. Enjoy!
