Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, the iconic duo from the TV animated show Spongebob Squarepants, are beloved characters in Bikini Bottom. Mermaid Man, or Ernie, is an aged fish in a vibrant orange superhero costume with a star-shaped mask, displaying unwavering determination and vitality. His sidekick, Barnacle Boy (Tim), dons a red and blue superhero outfit, a yellow sailor hat, and dark glasses, bringing a pragmatic touch to their adventures.
This set contains models of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy driving their invisible boat mobile, which is invisible.
I decided to build these two guys because they have always been some of my favorite Spongebob characters. I love their chemistry and the energy they bring to every episode.
This would be a great LEGO set because Spongebob Squarepants is like LEGO which appeals to all ages, but for different reasons.
