The Lord of The Rings

Hi everyone,

I present to you all, my latest LEGO Ideas project. I have noticed that many members of the LEGO Ideas community have been trying to bring back old LEGO themes such as Classic Space, Rock Raiders, Indiana Jones, etc. so I have created a LEGO Lord of the Rings project. I was not into the LOTRs or the LEGO when it came out, so I missed out on picking up some sets; so now I would love to own some so I have created this set proposal. This project features 4 mini builds of buildings and scenes from LOTR, including Bara-dur, Minas Tirith, the Balrog confronting Gandalf, and Bag end where Frodo and Bilbo live. I could not include all the key characters, which is why I tried to include some of the main and most well known LOTR characters, which have been placed on a special stand. I have included Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Gandalf the Grey, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gollum, an Orc and a Urkhai warrior. I would love to hear feedback from all of you, especially if you think more micro-scale builds should be included or the line-up of minifigures could be changed.
