An addition to the LEGO Architecture series - The buildings of Auckland City Centre, New Zealand.
I wanted to represent the varied architecture in the city centre of Auckland. The whole picture just didn't feel right without the Sky Tower, and the iconic symmetrical cone of Rangitoto in the background. In the end, I think the scale works well, and I love the backdrop.

Auckland Ferry Terminal (built 1912).
The Sky Tower (built 1997).
The Civic Theatre (built 1929).
Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki (modern gallery building, built 2011).
Auckland Town Hall (built 1911).

Rangitoto volcanic island (built by nature more than 600 years ago).
