What is it?
This Portal Gate Set is inspired by Ninjago: Dragons Rising. In the show, portal gates allow characters to travel between realms. With this set, you can transport your LEGO minifigures to iconic locations like the Monastery of Spinjitzu! It includes minifigures of Kai and Cinder, along with custom cars for both characters. Kai’s car features a detachable chain that connects to a side build containing a crystal. Though the custom cars and side build are not canon, they add extra fun and creativity to the set. Together, we can help make this an official LEGO set!
Why did you build it?
I was inspired to create this set after watching Episode 40 of Ninjago: Dragons Rising. Building a Ninjago set has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and I wanted to create something that fellow fans would love. I made sure to pack it with cool features for maximum enjoyment!
Why do you think this would make a great LEGO set?
Portal gates are going to play an increasingly important role in Ninjago: Dragons Rising, so this set ties in perfectly with the show’s ongoing storyline. Fans would love the opportunity to bring this crucial element to life in their LEGO collections!
