TINTIN: Ottokar's Sceptre

The Story

In the Balkan nation of Syldavia, ruled by King Muskar XII, there is a plot to overthrow him. Every St. Vladimir's Day, the king must present the sceptre of the medieval King Ottokar IV, otherwise he is obliged to abdicate. The thieves plan to steal the sceptre one day before St. Vladimir's Day to force the king to abdicate, allowing them to take the throne. Will Tintin be able to stop these thieves?

The Model

I am a huge fan of Tintin, and this is my second model based on the theme. This one I made, of course, using only legal techniques (I hope, lol) and real-world pieces. It has 918 elements, the great majority of which are easy to find and also inexpensive. The greatest challenge for this model was to use almost only Pearl Gold elements for the sceptre. With very few elements available, I had to stretch my imagination to represent each module, but I am pretty satisfied with the result.

I hope you like it!
