Summerstone Castle Ruins

In a dark forest filled with streams and glowing mushrooms there lies a ruin known as Summerstone Castle, its name is derived from the brightly colored stone used to build its walls which resembles the color of a summer sunset. And while it is unknown who the original keepers of this castle were it has become the new home for the Red Falcons!

Here the Red Falcons watch over the pathway through the woods ambushing merchants to steal any treasure they can get their hands on, always adding to the gold stockpile in the flooded catacombs under the castle. However today is different! Coming along the worn and mossy path comes a purple knight, here to stop the Red Falcons and claim the gold. Will he be successful or will he return without the stolen treasure? You decide!

I think this model would make a great set because it strays away from the generic grey walled castle and does something new with the color scheme making it stand out and feel new and fresh. Its setting within a mystical forest also creates a unique atmosphere of adventure and mystery. It will also be introducing new factions to help spark imaginative play and creativity.
