Hello, my idea comes from the LEGO official set, 40522 the valentine's lovebirds.
While in our Chinese culture, we usually use Yuanyang (鸳鸯 Mandarin duck) as the representative of lovebirds because they always come in pairs and only have one mate in their lifetime. So, Yuanyang are often regarded as a symbol of loving couples and eternal love of fidelity.
The male Yuanyang is extremely colorful, with bright red bills and two orange "sails" on their backs, which are the most distinctive features. The female is far less beautiful than the male, with their whole body gray and brown, just like an ordinary duck.
There are many proverbs in Chinese that describe lovers using Yuanyang, like 'only the envy Yuanyang not envy immortal 只羡鸳鸯不羡仙' etc.
So as Valentine's Day arrives on February 14, I wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!
