Brickheadz Peanuts 75th Anniversary

"Good grief!"

This is my creation of a collection of major characters from the comic strip "Peanuts" in the style of Brickheadz. Created by Charles Schultz, this iconic comic strip ran from 1950 to 2000 and features Good Ol' Charlie Brown and all his friends, as well as his loyal pet beagle Snoopy. "Peanuts" is arguably the best known comic strip in the world, and 2025 will celebrate the 75th anniversary of its initial launch.

I've also included several recognizable set pieces, including Lucy's advice booth, Schroeder's toy piano, Linus's blanket, and of course, Snoopy's doghouse. There is a total of 1010 pieces that make up the entire set.

One of my major goals for these designs was to try to brick-build the details as much as possible. For example, I specifically avoided printed elements for Charlie Brown's zig zag stripe or several other characters' shirt stripes. Nevertheless, I felt that printed elements were unavoidable for things such as Peppermint Patty's freckles or Sally Brown's polka dot dress. Some of the more challenging details to capture were the various characters' hairstyles. I'm particular happy with how the Schroeder's hair and Lucy's hair turned out.
