"The masked swordsman Meta Knight disrupted the peace of Dream Land! Take down his airship, the Halberd!"
— Kirby Super Star Ultra stage text
From the Bubbly Clouds above Dreamland comes an awesome new mini-display model based off of the iconic battleship Halberd from Kirby Super Star's Meta Knight's Revenge. Depicting the Halberd's maiden flight mere minutes before it crash-landed in the Orange Ocean (ocean unfortunately not included), this display set is a must-have of any fan of Kirby or gaming as a whole.
I was inspired by the mini display piece Executor Super Star Destroyer. Its smart usage of parts and its ability to transform such a complex design into a compact form really amazed me. I am also a huge Kirby fan and wanted to combine the level of detail from LEGO mini-scale display sets to something from Kirby that I enjoyed. The Halberd display piece was the result.
The Halberd would make an awesome LEGO set because it's one of the most iconic vehicles from the Kirby series. This means that it truly deserves to be official as it has been the focus of some of the most memorable moments of the Kirby franchise (like in Meta Knight’s Revenge or at the end of Kirby: Planet Robobot).
Some features of the concept:
- 452 total pieces
- Approximately 35.2 centimeters or 13.8 inches long. When attached to the stand it stands at over 8 in. (21 cm.) tall!
- A miniature displayable Dyna Blade bird to attach to the side.
- A full display stand with a design reminiscent of Meta Knight's mysterious mask.
