Narnia: Through the Wardrobe

This set is a replica of the wardrobe from “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” from the scene of the Pevensie children’s first entrance into the fantastical world of Narnia. The set comes with six minifigures: Lucy, Edmund, Susan, Peter, Mr. Tumnus, and the White Witch. The set features two worlds, ours and Narnia. On one side is the professor’s house with five separate rooms and the wardrobe. On the other side there are the of houses, Mr. Tumnus and the Beavers. The set also comes with the White Witch’s sledge, with the intention that builders can re-enact the first time the Pevensies go through the wardrobe.

I built this set after years of struggling to capture the magic of Narnia in “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” My brother said it could never be done, so I took the challenge upon myself. I’ve loved C.S. Lewis’s enchanting books for years and have tried to do them justice. I personally believe this would make a great LEGO set because “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” is a work that has inspired me creatively.

 It has inspired volumes of other books and readers for generations. It is my dream that others can experience the joy I feel when I remember and re-enact those ground-breaking tales that shaped fantasy fiction.
