The Daily Planet, one of the two most recognizable buildings in Metropolis (and easier to turn into a Lego building set than Lexcorp Tower), and the workplace of Clark Kent, his wife and confidant Lois Lane, and also friends like Jimmy Olsen or their editor Perry White. There have been a lot of Daily Planet reporters we may name from the comic books, but these four are the most well-known.
It includes the Daily Planet globe at the top. The ring is held by four transparents pieces, one per each piece forming the ring.
Since this set features Clark Kent rather than Superman, the chosen villain was Conduit, Clark's former "friend" who has his aims more set on Clark than Superman (at least until he found out the secret). Two whips represent his Kryptonite wires.
