Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bust - Eastman and Laird Style

Cowabunga dudes! It's been 40 years since these radical turtles burst on the scene and they're still kicking shell.

This LEGO Idea is a bust of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the style of the original artists, Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The set would only have enough pieces for one bust but would include enough extra pieces for the builder to customize which turtle they want by swapping out their bandana (blue for the leader Leonardo, red for hot-head Raphael, purple for brainiac Donatello, and orange for fun-loving Michaelangelo)

I've been a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since I was a kid and know plenty more are fans as well. I think with the continued success of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles over four decades there is definitely an audience for this set. Adults who grew up reading the comics and watching the first generation of cartoons are having kids themselves who are enjoying the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in their own way and maybe this set could be a way they could share their joy together.
