The Texas Skyscreamer is a 400 ft tall swing ride at Six Flags over Texas. I personally have ridden this ride several times. Guests are seated in swings equipped with lap bars and harnesses. The ride commences to start lifting guests up at a faster-than -usual speed up the tower, and starts spinning the seats. At the top of the ride, the swing accelerates, banking the swing almost 45 degrees, and reaches 43 mph. This continues for about two minutes, and then the ride slows down and descends. At 50 ft it stops spinning and lowers the swings to a mere ft above the ground and stops. Guests then exit the ride. My model will actually spin, and holds minifigures.
