Turtle Power! 🐢🐢🐢🐢 The world's most fearsome fighting team in LEGO form!
Cowabunga! Based on their original classic animated television series, these Heroes in a Half Shell are ready to pose, fight, and eat pizza like there is no tomorrow! After being exposed to some radioactive ooze, four ordinary pet turtles mutated to anthropomorphic form and taught by their Master Splinter became experts of ninjutsu!
You know the four brothers well...
Leonardo - Fearless leader and master of the katana!
Donatello - Science wizard and wielder of the bo staff!
Raphael - Sarcastic hothead and sai fighter!
Michelangelo - Party dude and radical nunchuck whirler!
Together they are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
Why I built this - The classic cartoon from the 80s has been a favorite show of mine and the TMNT are such an amazing creation of Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. As a comic book fan, I think the TMNT have such a unique history that have kept them in the spotlight with fans due to the different iterations in all media and now celebrate their 40th anniversary.
Why I think this would make a great set - I know many fans who enjoyed the TMNT sets from many years ago and the great thing about these buildable figures is the opportunity to pose them like action figures and have interactive play with the classic cartoon version.
Relive the nostalgia of this classic show and remember...Turtles fight with honor! 🐢🐢🐢🐢
