An epic battle between LEGO Godzilla and King Ghidorah!
Godzilla is one of the most iconic movie monsters of all time.
After building the 75936 T Rex rampage set, I wanted to make a LEGO Godzilla model at a similar epic scale.
This project features two Giant LEGO Monsters: Godzilla and King Ghidorah.
So you can have a great monster battle on your LEGO shelf.
Godzilla
The Godzilla model has:
- 10 joints for neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hips
- Articulated fingers and tail
- 2 types of backplates : Black / Transparent blue
- Transparent blue backplate for charging the Atomic breath attack
- Part count: 1056
- Dimensions*: 15 x 25 x 43 cm / 6” x 9.7” x 17.3” / 19 x 31 x 55 studs
- *Width x Height x Length
King Ghidorah
- Golden body, featuring many metallic gold pieces
- Movable wings
- Articulated necks and tail (4-6 joints each)
- Expanded wings design
- The largest wing piece still is not big enough for this epic proportion LEGO Monster, so I extended the wings with a foldable extension
- Part count: 1191
- Dimensions*: 50 x 35.7 x 46.7 cm / 20” x 14” x 18.5” / 63 x 45 x 58 studs
- *Wingspan x Height x Length
The two monsters are at compatible scale.
