The Starspeeder 3000 is the ride vehicle featured in Disney Parks’ popular “Star Tours” ride, which opened in California in January 1987. Though since redesigned, this is the vehicle as it appeared for more than twenty years, becoming one of Disney’s most popular attractions. The vehicle is detailed inside and out, and comes with C-3PO, R2-D2, the pilot droid RX-24, and a family of four.
The model is made of 796 pieces, including 22 for three droids and 16 for the family. In addition there are thirty-four labels which add detail.
For fun there is a picture attached of every seat in the interior occupied by a Star Wars character.
