When the Doctor was exiled to Earth by the Time Lords, he took on a job working for the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce (aka U.N.I.T).
To get him to agree to stay, Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart promised to help him get a Vintage Car.
The Doctor christened his new car 'Bessie'.
Bessie served as the Doctors main mode of Transportation while the TARDIS was out of action. It hasn't traveled just on Earth, but also in a Universe of Anti-Matter & even the Doctors home world; Gallifrey.
This model of Bessie comes with a detachable sunroof, so the Doctor can enjoy a nice drive through the Countryside, even in the rain.
