Prague - Charles Bridge

The Charles Bridge is one of the most visited monuments in Prague. It is the oldest stone bridge in Prague and the second oldest in the Czech Republic, which have survived to this day.

It is named after its founder, Charles IV, who had it built in 1342 on the site of the demolished Judith's Bridge. He entrusted the construction of the Gothic bridge only to the 27-year-old architect Petr Parléř. Among the most famous sculptures on the bridge are by Matyáš Braun.

This model is just a small tribute to this "big" bridge, which belongs to the cultural heritage. Awareness of it could spread again to the world through the LEGO kit.
