I built a small, cute Ferris wheel on my desktop with basic bricks and brick beams.
It is the first time I tried to build something "movable" and I found it so much fun to design the arms and gondolas. I tried several different ways to hang the gondola and am satisfied with the final design. It looks simple and neat.
I also design a small handle to operate the Ferris wheel manually from its back.
I think this Ferris wheel would be a good project for many Lego beginners to learn to use beams. It is more fun to make something movable rather than a static model. :)
