C⚉raline

Caroline... Coraline I meant to say, has always been one of my favorite movies. The stop-motion animation, the wild characters that appear on the movie and the creepy story. Everything about it has always been very intriging to me.

How did this idea come to be? Well, I rewatched the movie after many years when it was rereleased for its 15th anniversary and I had an idea on how to build Coraline's head using a weird technique, so I built her and I was really happy with the result.

There have been many projects featuring this movie on Lego Ideas and all of them have decided to build the house (and all of them did an amazing job), but I felt like this could be a nice new idea to upload. So I started working on the other mother and the cat. Then I decided to add some accesories like the portal door, the kids' orbes? and the tool that Caroline... ¡Coraline! used in order to find them. Of course, I had to include the gift box that the Other Mother gives our protagonist to try and... stitch buttons to her eyes... creepy.

There're articulated parts on the characters and the door also slides.
