Based on the classic television series from the 80's, I present to you the A-team Van. This build was inspired by many hours of Lego building and watching the A-team.
After viewing several smaller MOC's of the van, I decided to try my hand at a larger version. And after several months of researching, planning, building and tweaking, I finally got my desired outcome: a collector's-style replica of a classic television icon.
One of the bigger challenges of the build was incorporating the sliding side door, which does actually work!
Some other fun details and features include:
-All doors and hatches open
-Accurate V8 engine under the hood
-Top can be easily removed to reveal detailed interior, complete with captains chairs, recording equipment, and dashboard
-Sunroof
The set comes with approximately 1,300 pieces.
Also, the build comes with the A-team in minifigure form: "Hannibal" Smith, B.A. Baracus, Templeton "Faceman" Peck, and "Howling Mad" Murdock.
