The 4x4 speed cube is my idea of what a 4x4 speed cube in LEGO would look like in 2022. I really wanted to showcase the details of speed cubes by using round elements on the pieces. For example, I used the 1x1 round tile piece and 2x2 curve on the pieces to represent the rounder parts of the cubes. To represent the modern LEGO style, I decided to use 1x1 curved elements on three of the four corners of each piece. I believe that this really captures the look of the modern speed cube very well with the 4x4.
