Introduction
Celeste is a platforming video game created by Maddy Makes Games in 2018. The game focuses on self-discovery, overcoming anxiety and depression, and most of all, climbing a mountain. With its touching story, beautiful art and soundtrack, and challenging difficulty, Celeste is most certainly one of my favorite video games to have played. Because of this, I obviously think it would make an awesome Lego set too!

The Build
This model includes a replica of Celeste Mountain, based on the game's main level select screen, along with four different smaller locations based on cutscenes during the game. You can use the minifigures included with the set to re-enact different scenes and events from the game, and even create your own stories!

I tried to make the mountain as detailed and close to the original as I could, including miniature versions of all the chapters, and a removable wall to access the core of the mountain. Above the mountain is the moon which the final chapter of the game, Farewell, takes place on, and I included a small spot for the bird to sit on the moon as well!

Besides the main mountain, I chose to include one main location for each of the characters in the game. You can journey with Madeline to Granny's house, take a selfie at Theo's campfire, reach the memorial in Forsaken City, explore Celestial Resort with Mr. Oshiro, and face off against Badeline in reflection.

Along with the minifigures, I've included the polaroids and selfies found throughout the cutscenes an credits, along with four types of collectable strawberries - normal, winged, golden, and the moon berry.

Stats
  • 2159 Parts (Not including minifigures)
  • Dimensions: 8.6" x 6.9" x 10.8" (Main mountain)

Conclusion
If you've played Celeste before, I'm sure you'll like this build, and if you haven't ever played it, I highly recommend the game! You can go play it and then make sure to come back and support the project after you're done. (Warning: The game may take longer to complete than this sentence makes it appear - I actually haven't fully completed the game yet myself - still stuck on farewell!)

Thank you for supporting this project, and if you want it to reach 10,000 supporters so you could own it yourself, please share it with anyone you think would like the project! Thanks to all the awesome comments on the project too, it's great to hear your feedback!

Just like climbing Celeste Mountain, it's an ambitious goal but certainly possible if we work together!
