The Iconic TV American Family, Now In LEGO Form!
The Pop-culture sitcom from the 1970's, The Brady Bunch, is here in a two-set package, including Alice!
About The Set
The brick-built Living room diorama from the Brady's household amazes casual & long-time fans alike with attention to detail. The set is composed by the
iconic staircase & living room foyer, alongside a brick-built 1970's Television set with the nostalgic title shot of the family in the 9 squares!
Details include rotating T.V. knobs, pictures decorating the living room, Carol's antique vase, a brick-built horse statue, & more!
The "living room" also has stage catwalks & lights to capture the feeling of the set being on a studio lot!
Nine mini figures are included in the set.
The set is built with passion & intricacy, for sure you will love to build it!
The Story Behind This Set
My name is Mike, & I'm the son of Susan Olsen, the actress who played Cindy Brady in the show!
I had a passion with Lego since I was 6, & I've always wondered how a "Brady Bunch" set could be brought into reality.
So I thought about it recently, got some consulting from my mom for certain aspects, to make this build faithful to the fans, old & new.
I'd like this to become a real Lego set because I want to honor my "Brady-family" & my mom's legacy in the form of a timeless Lego set!
Both the Living Room & T.V. Set are detachable from each other, so YOU choose how you want everything displayed!
The Style of the Living Room
The living room was carefully built taking influence from the 1970's show,
as well as the recent replication of the sets from HGTV's "A Very Brady Renovation".
This set captures the atmosphere of the family's living room with precise detailing, a unique staircase, artwork,
& an interior color scheme that defined 1970's American sitcom television.
Plus, this diorama is also a play-set! complete with a dining table & chairs, as well as the character's memorable accessories
The Style of the Retro Television Set
The Television set was built with a blend of various T.V. sets from the 1970's decade in mind,
since more than half of American families have seen the Brady Bunch on a television set from that era when it originally aired!
The brick-built T.V. set captures the "wood-age" of the 1970's with its structure, speakers & rotating knobs.
You can also pose the Brady family in the T.V. screen by removing the T.V.'s "Screen-frame"!
The center screen-frame window also has a panel with the show's logo in two styles (one on each side)
to be placed in if you choose to, or if you don't like Alice for some weird reason.
I also added a "flower-power" themed sign of the show, complete with flower pieces,
to go above the T.V. & cover up the back of the living room / upper staircase section of the set!
Characters
All 9 of the main characters featured on the show have been included in this set.
Each character's mini figure has a list of potential accessories & alternate faces / face prints!
Mike Brady - Architect blueprint, coffee mug
Carol Brady - Coffee mug, fashion magazine.
Bobby Brady - Football, frog
Cindy Brady - Kitty Karry-All, fairy princess wand
Peter Brady - Plate with "Pork Chops & Applesauce" (Alternate face print is him with fake mustache as "Phil Packard")
Jan Brady - Telephone, her imaginary friend "George Glass" (He's invisible!), empty glass
Greg Brady - Guitar, "Raquel" The High School Mascot Goat
Marsha Brady - Hairbrush, mirror (alternate face print has her with a bandage on her nose)
Alice The Maid - Frying pan, bowling ball bag
If you've always dreamed of having a bit of the Brady house in your house, now you can build it and have fun!
