Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
First of all it`s not my intention to compete with Marshal.
I`d want to support his idea showing Lego that we can have decent Lego Western Town and there are more AFOLs thinking and supporting this with another ideas.
Yes it could be and should modular town. Mine is modular too. Train Station is on two baseplates 32x32, Saloon is on one baseplate, and Hotel is on another.
It would be not good to just copy "Modular building" line. First of all buildings should be smaller with some buildings bigger. For example:
- General Store - one floor building with 500-600 pieces, Saloon two floors with 1000 pieces, big Train Station with 1500 pieces, Jail one floor with 600 pieces ect, ect...
Lego could make one big building in one year (for example big western train station) and two smaller buildings in another year or two buildings (like in Pet Shop) in one set - Sheriff Office and Jail. Plus we can have smaller sets like stagecoach, or pioneer wagon. We can have western train ect, ect.
I think it could be fantastic for us AFOLs and profitable for Lego. And after three or four years we could have fantastic small wild west town wid decent buildings and vehicles.
So we can have:
-Train Station
- Saloon
- Hotel
- Drug Store
- General Store
- Sheriff Office
- Jail
- Bank
- Town buildings...
After 15 years I think we can have new Western line build with new pieces and techniques.
I built it two years ago by the way.
Enjoy.
Maybe we, AFOLs are not like Minecraft community but we can try :D
It could be fantastic line :)
