I sometimes see, parked in empty lots, what was once an ordinary train car, now serving as a house or a restaurant. These reclaimed rail cars have always fascinated me. There's something appealing about them that I just can't put my finger on. And with the limitless possibilities that the LEGO system offers, building one of these seemed like a pretty interesting concept that I'm surprised had yet to be elaborated on by this point.
I've always loved LEGO trains, and have procured a small collection of them, but I've always wished there was more of a selection available. Recently that desire has brought me to designing my own engines and railcars from scratch. And honestly, how more unique can you get than a rail car that serves pizza? This model is designed to function both as a stationary building, allowing it to fit into a city layout, or to make a fine addition to someone's railroad collection as a functional rail car.
And let's be honest, who doesn't love pizza.
