This project was simply to recreate the iconic London bus in it's current version, the new Eco-Routemaster. I wanted the model to be large, but not excessive and in it's current design is roughly 1.5 times mini figure scale, this still makes for a larger than you might expect display model.
The model has only around 800 pieces and would be the equivalent of an expert level creator set in my opinion.
I have made some compromises with the accuracy of the design to compensate for the limitations of Lego when creating curved flowing edges, but feel I have found a good balance without making the model overly technical and unappealing to build.
