#17 - Puff, the Missing Cat

"Ada was encouraged to study mathematics, astronomy and music, and allowed to design flying machines, play the harp and commune with her cat, Puff."

From "Computer science: Enchantress of abstraction" by Richard Holmes on Nature.com

Help Ada find her cat, which of these looks most like Puff?

A, B, C or D? Reply in the comments section...

The moggy with the most votes will be added to the LEGO set!

Best wishes, Stewart (•‿•)

I hope you all enjoyed Ada Lovelace Day this week, I certainly did. Reaching 40% in just 6 months is simply incredible. You have all really embraced this project and your enthusiasm warms the cockles of my heart.

Special thanks to John Edgar Park and Stefan Schmitt for writing such fantastic articles in Boing Boing and DIE ZEIT.

Best wishes, Stewart ლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ)

What a way to start all our weekends. We've made it to 3,000 supporters, I'm over the moon!

Thanks must go to my office cheerleaders Marshall and Anne-Marie for their amazing pom-pom action.

Also, a wee shout-out to Alexander J Martin who wrote a very supportive piece for The Register today, this really helped us pass the 30% mark.

Best wishes, Stewart ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ

I do hope you're all enjoying the summer, especially if you're fortunate enough to take a wee holiday. It's a little over 3 months since the project launched and today we're officially a quarter of the way to achieving our target!

Many thanks to everyone who has supported this idea, LEGO Ada and Charles are delighted to see all the enthusiasm for the Analytical Engine all these decades later.

We were blessed again to have some great coverage online from a number of kind authors and publishers (references below).

Enjoy what's left of your summer break and brick on!

I'm so chuffed, we now have over 2K supporters! I find it hard to think that we are now one-fifth of the way to our target, it's so incredible.

Thank-you to everyone who took the time to vote, registration is not always a simple process, and your support is very much appreciated.

Once again a number of very kind people wrote some very nice wee articles about the project (see list below). Thank-you to both the authors and publishers, these news stories not only help spread the word, but hopefully inspire others to get creative. Brick on!
