Jingle Jangle - A Mountain Bike Trail

This is a model of mountain bike trail. It's based on a local trail near my house. It's back story goes like this..

High up in the rugged Lego mountains is a hidden gem of a mountain bike trail called "Jingle Jangle" The trail welcomes all levels of riders from weekend warriors to pro down hillers, but beware it's not for the feint hearted. Send it, ride it or just survive it. The choice is yours!

The trail makes its way down a steep mountain face past a pooling waterfall it also runs above an abandoned mine shaft that contains quite the surprise, so hikers and climbers who've lost their way best beware. I tried to include as many natural fun features as I could that would help bring the model to life. I put in rocks, drops, bushes, weeds and jumps and added a few characters..

As a keen mountain biker and AFOL I really wanted a LEGO Mountain Biking set, but to my surprise when I looked for one, I couldn't find one! I then decided to try and make one myself. I wanted to make a set that captured the essence and excitement of the sport I love, but was also fun to play with.

I think this would make a great set because I feel many adult Mountain Bikers out there would appreciate having it as a decorative piece and many kids would enjoy playing with it and creating their own trails, jumps and excitement. I also think it promotes getting out and having fun in nature which I feel is something everybody could benefit from.
