This is Sungnyemun, Korea's National Treasure No. 1. Sungnyemun is one of the Eight Gates in the Fortress Wall of Seoul, South Korean, which surrounded the city in the Joseon dynasty. Also It is the most beautiful and biggest one of Korean castle gates.
Maybe all of you know already that Sungnyemun has been release once with lego Archtecture series. But it's too small and undetailed. So I made a big and detailed one. When I made it, most difficult thing was roof details. So many rooftiles, ridges, and under-roof ornaments made me uneasy, but finally I made them. And this creation can be opened one main door, two side doors, and a roof.
