Water Tender

It’s the middle of fire season in the outskirts of Brick City. Unfortunately, the winds changed overnight and the Brick County Fire Complex has grown significantly and is threatening the city!

Since there are no municipal water sources out in the county, Brick City Fire Dept. must rely on water tenders to supply water to battle the blaze. Fortunately, Stud Lake is nearby so the tenders are able to draft water from there. They can then transport it to supply the engine companies attacking the fire.

Water tenders are basically large tanker trucks that haul a large volume of water to pumper engines. When fighting fire in an urban setting, hydrants and other water sources are usually abundant but when fighting fire in the urban-wildland interface or in the wilderness, water and other fire suppressants usually need to be supplied to the attacking firefighters by tender or air delivery.
