Golden Gate Bridge

Elegantly spanning across the waters of the Golden Gate in San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most iconic structures of all time. As one of the seven civil engineering wonders of the world, this bridge was the longest and tallest suspension bridge on Earth when it was built in 1937.

My Inspiration
While touring the city of San Francisco, I was amazed by the grandeur of the Golden Gate Bridge, towering high above the cloudy fog that rolls in from the Pacific Ocean in the morning. I recreated this landmark bridge with LEGO elements, while preserving the look and scale of the towers and bridge spans.

The Build
My model has 1313 LEGO parts altogether, with many red elements for the suspension cables, the towers, and the arch at the end of the bridge. This set would be a great display piece on a shelf, coffee table or fireplace mantel, and could also be incorporated into LEGO cityscapes.

Thank you very much for your consideration, and please support and share this project if it interests you!
