What is Ibrox?
- First opened in 1899, Ibrox Stadium is more than just a football ground—it’s a Scottish footballing icon. With a seating capacity of over 50,000, it is one of the largest stadiums in the UK. It has been home to some of the greatest moments in Rangers’ illustrious history, from domestic triumphs in the Scottish Premiership to European conquests. The stadium has also undergone numerous renovations over the years, most notably the stunning redevelopment in the 1970s, which turned Ibrox into one of the most modern stadiums of its time while retaining its traditional charm.
