My Living Room

Hello. This is a model of my living room, it is on a 16x16 plate with a 6x16 extension on the back (to make it a little bit longer). So in all, it is 16x22. I tried to make everything as accurate as possible. I have lived in my current house (the one with this living room) for the pas 13 years, so it was pretty easy to get an accurate model from memory. If there was one thing that I didn't get right, it would be the fireplace. The fireplace in my house is stone, painted white, but there is still some visible grey showing underneath the paint, so I just made the fireplace light bluish grey because if it was white, it would blend in to the bookshelf too much. If you look closely, you can see a small seam (tile groove) near the base of the window wall, this is so that the entire wall that is holding the windows can come off for easy access to the room.
Speaking of access, I did my best to make this room minifigure scale. So minifigures are able to sit on the couch and the Lay-Z-Boy, or get books from the bookshelf, or watch TV. I think that this would be a really good Ideas set because it can be a great play model, or display piece, (thanks to the removable wall). I originally designed this model because my Dad had the idea for me to make an accurate representation of our living room, my loving everything LEGO, I thought that it was a really good idea, so here is the product! Thank you so much for looking at my model, and please support. Oh, and one more thing, please rate this model in the box with the categories (originality, technique Etc.) I really want to know what you think.
