Between 1872-76, the HMS Challenger and its crew made an exploration trip around the world.
The HMS Challenger discovered over 4,000 previously unknown species. The expedition is known as “The greatest advance in the knowledge of our planet since the celebrated discoveries of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries".
The HMS Challenger is an impressive model made of 1403 bricks.
I have not included a baseplate with the model, because I do not know if there is one that will work with this set, but I am sure that when/if this model makes it to the Review, that Lego will figure something out.
