TRON: Legacy - Flynn`s Arcade Bookends

Welcome to my next idea, the TRON: Legacy - Flynn`s Arcade Bookends!

Background Story

TRON: Legacy is a 2010 American science fiction film produced and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The story follows Flynn’s son Sam who responds to a message from his long-lost father and is transported into a virtual reality called the Grid, where Sam, his father and the algorithm Quorra stop the malevolent program CLU from invading the human world.

One key scene of the movie takes place at Flynn`s old arcade amusement hall. Sam enters the arcade hall and discovers a secret passage to a room, where the teleporter to the Grid is placed.

I wanted to transfer this special scene into a special Lego set. I`ve always been a fan of bookends out of Lego bricks, but I often missed the playability at the same time. This bookend version offers different options to play and display and possibly inspires to expand it.

Features

Bookend 1:

  • Sam Flynn minifigure with coin
  • Find the scratches on the floor
  • Swing open the fake wall behind the arcade game
  • Take the Tron arcade game off the wall easily and dis(play) separated
  • Enter the secret door behind the wall
  • 2 connectors on the side walls to dis(play) side by side

Bookend 2:

  • Large computer
  • The map of the Grid
  • Chair: rotates + moveable seat back
  • Laser: rotates
  • Use the computer and teleport yourself to the Grid
  • 2 connectors on the side walls to dis(play) side by side

Use them as bookends and display them separated!

Connect them side by side and (dis)play!

Create new scenes and connect them all!
