Inspired by Fbsart's efforts on the Microfighter additions, I attempted to create a Slave I with my own bricks. I included the "flick-fire" misslies. Instead of the tiny wedge windscreen I opted for the full canopy to aid the look when Boba Fett is removed. I consulted the original Celebration version of the Slave I when building this one and it also had a full (darker) canopy. The Stabilizer Fins move independently when you tilt the model and the missiles fire when flicked. It is possible to insert and remove Boba Fett without taking off the canopy. I only have the Boba Fett from the 7144 set and his rocket pack makes it difficult to have anything behind him.
Han in Carbonite is also from the 7144 set.
Lego has series 2 coming in 2015 but Slave 1 is not among them so vote and we can all have one!
