The Shepherd's Cottage

Back again with another creation! It's a medieval build this time. This was my first time making a medieval cottage. I hope you like it just as much as I enjoyed building it!

The Story Behind "The Shepherd's Cottage"

A long time ago, in a land with castles, kings, queens, and knights, there lived a shepherd and his family. They lived a quiet life on green rolling hills raising sheep as their descendants had done for the last few hundred years.

They lived in a humble cottage. Besides the main level, it had a loft and a cellar. On the main floor, you'd find a large cozy brick fire place, a home knitted rug, a chair, a table with a drawer, and a longer table with some delicious food on top. In the loft, there was a large soft bed. In the cellar, there rested two crates full of vegetables and a bed beside a wall.

I really liked building this cottage (as well as the sheep and landscape) and I am glad to see how it turned out. This model's piece count is probably somewhere between 400 and 1,000 pieces. I'm guessing that it took around two and a half hours of building before I reached the final product.

That's about it. Thanks for reading!
