SpaceX Falcon Heavy

On February 6, 2018, the private space exploration company led by entrepreneur Elon Musk launched the Falcon Heavy, currently the most powerful rocket in the world. The test flight launched Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster, with a mannequin inside named 'Starman', on an orbit that would reach the asteroid belt. The launch was successful, reaching a 1000 km/h in a bit less than one minute.

SpaceX is famous for its reuseable booster landings, and this process was repeated yet again on this flight. The two side boosters landed simultaneously at Cape Canaveral. However, the main core booster was only able to ignite one of its three return engines and hit the water right next to the drone landing ship at a surprising 300 mph. But that event was small compared to the rest of the mission. The second stage did its job, and the car is now in orbit around the sun.

This project is a replica of this rocket. It includes the rocket, the strongback, the launch tower, and the launchpad itself. Inside the upper fairing is a replica of the Tesla Roadster, with a minifigure Starman inside. If this project goes under review and gets accepted, I hope the LEGO team will add decals.

Who knows, maybe this project will lift off in supporters as fast as the original launch!
