Portal 2 Sentry Turret

With portal 2 themes making it's way into lego dimentions, i thought it would be awesome to make a large portal turret! it wasn't the easiest thing to do, and as the other pictures show, i'm still working out the innards. ultimately, i would want this to be able to have the sides open to fire, like in the game. right now, that center shaft can twist using the top umbrella piece but i haven't figured out the rest. there is just so little space inside this thing. anyways suggestions are welcome on how to get that to work. also i'll post a better render once i figure out how to change the background color and shadow effects.. thanks everybody! i hope you all enjoy it as much as that cake! You monster...
