The Inspiration
With the passing of the legendary Betty White I became interested in her many works. I soon found The Golden Girls and I soon knew I wanted to create a Lego MOC of the famous sitcom. I'm a fan of well detailed and clean builds so I let my idea reflect that. The Golden Girls were truly ahead of their time and with this project we remember the icons that were Betty White, Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty.
The Build
For the build I referenced many shots of the iconic home both inside and out so that the build could be as accurate a possible. I also looked at the many costumes worn by the actors throughout the series so that their clothing could be just like the show and promotional shots. The home of the golden girls is very iconic and filled with many memories and a great deal of character. I hope you enjoy it like I do. Thank you for being a friend!

Remembering Icons
The Golden Girls is an iconic American sitcom with a fantastic cast and great humor. With the Golden Girls now united we must never forget the joy they have brought to our lives and what they stood for. They truly were ahead of their time. May they rest in peace.
