Gundam is back and is here to stay!
One of the most famous and iconic mech in history deserves a Lego counterpart, so check this out!
This creation is 21 cm (210 mm) tall, so it's very close to the typical 1/100 scale of gunpla model kits and made of about 600 pieces.
This Gundam is compact, solid and well poseable due to the study on articulations. Many floating panels let arms, legs and feet free to move naturally.
Of course Gundam comes with his weapons:
- beam rifle
- sabre sword
- shield
- bazooka.
I made my first Lego Gundam in late 2018, then I revisited it in many details, colours, proportions, inner frame and weapons for Lego Ideas in late 2019.
We definitely need more classic robots/mechas as a Lego set, and Gundam must be one of them. Support him, my friends!
