"Where would we be today without the guidance of the Magic 8 Ball?"
I'm fascinated by the fact that people look to a toy to predict the future, even if just for fun. In Lego, I couldn't reproduce the mystery of the answer rising to the surface in dark liquid, so I thought of showing opposing scenes that represent possible outcomes.
I like the idea of someone bringing this set home and designing their own scenes, but I've provided initial answers to a question: Will I have a great day today?
On the no side, the boy asking the question is stuck inside on a beautiful day, having broken his hand. On the yes side, he is playing soccer outside with his friends.
The model contains 876 pieces and is a 7.5 inch sphere.
