This is my first official LEGO project. It's a Taj Mahal model, about 39 x 18 cm in size (15.3 x 7.1 in.), including the riverfront terrace, containing the Mausoleum, Mosque and Jawab. Also included is the Charbagh garden containing pavilions and the Jilaukhana containing accommodation for the tomb attendants and two subsidiary tombs.
Please note that the Moonlight Garden north of the Yamuna River and Taj Ganji (bazaar) are not part of this model. The Moonlight Garden is mostly merely a square of trees and the Taj Ganji is mostly gone today. The traditional bazaar has been replaced with city houses.
This model has been completely designed using LEGO Digital Designer. It has 1328 pieces. All images you see here are screenshots taken with LDD. This includes the famous view of the Taj Mahal through the gateway building.
