This set was inspired by the 1966 Pontiac GTO that's been in my family since my father first bought it new. My goal was to get it reasonably close to accurate while allowing it to sit up to 3 minifigures. I sacrificed some functionality (i.e.: opening doors, hood, and trunk) in order to accommodate the figures while maintaining some accuracy to the design of the car itself.
I'd like to make further improvements to it, including a removable convertible top. If this were to be approved, I would see this project as a part of a series including other cars from multiple eras.
This set would include the car itself and a family of three minifigures, and their pet cats.
This is my first attempt at a project, so I welcome any and all feedback! Thanks!
